Wine Subscription eCommerce Website – Ellinikakrasia.gr

This project involved the development of the online store Ellinikakrasia.gr, the first wine subscription cellar in Greece.

The website was built with WordPress + WooCommerce, with the goal of creating a modern eCommerce platform that combines online sales with a wine subscription service. The development focused on delivering an optimized user experience, long-term scalability, and strong search engine visibility (SEO).

The project was delivered through the collaboration of three professionals with complementary roles:

The scope of the project included:

• Configuration of the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin
• Development of a custom plugin to support the membership mechanism
• Stripe integration for secure online payments
• Implementation of custom shipping functionality with BoxNow
• Implementation of custom shipping functionality with ACS Courier
• Development of custom functionality for displaying specialized wine-related information
• Creation of an SEO-friendly website structure based on product categories and product attributes

The new platform established a strong foundation for the company’s strategic growth, introducing new customer management capabilities through subscriptions while also improving the website’s organic visibility on Google.
