This project concerns an Italian language school in Sofia, Bulgaria. When the client contacted us at a stage when he had decided to stop the operation of a previous language school he had and was about to start a new school with a partner. And this project is a successful case study and shows us how the construction of a website using SEO marketing research and with a professional aesthetic result can bring top results in a very quick period of time.

The Story

Our client did not have a website for his new business. When he came to us he was almost desperate because he had already agreed to build his website with another IT company but their project was not progressing for 3 months and this had put them in a very difficult position. They had already rented a large space and it was the end of August 2017. They wanted to have the website ready immediately because expenses were starting to run up and the school year was about to start. In the first conversation we had and while they had shown us the plans they had prepared for how they wanted the website to be, we told them our honest opinion. We did not agree with the content they proposed and, among other things, they also had an eshop in their design, while they did not intend to offer distance courses with video. We discussed extensively why and how some things could be done and while at the beginning there was a lot of resistance from the client, in the end he agreed to do an SEO marketing research and give him our own proposal. This is how we started from the moment we submitted our proposal and then a very nice collaboration began and we were sincerely honored by the fact that they accepted to follow all our proposals. After all, they were based on statistics and our experience in their subject matter because we already had another client with a Bulgarian tutoring school and we had already seen the things we suggested work.

Since we started the cooperation the client’s website has been redesigned twice, as we have to renew its style to look modern and at the same time to follow all the SEO trends. Current Status – July 2019

In July 2019, the client’s website was visited by 5748 unique users of which 4643 came from the Google search engine and 706 from Google ads. The importance of SEO for the customer based on these elements is very high. At the moment the cost of paid advertising through Google for the word ‘home renovation’ is 0.95 euros / click. Based on the above data, the 4643 organic users would cost the customer 4411 euros/month only in the Google budget. In an annual context, this means 4411*12=52932 euros. Such a figure in advertising budget is huge for a small and medium-sized business in Greece, let alone for a relatively new company.

The conversion rate (submission of forms and smart goals) in July was 2.41% for organic traffic and 4.17% for traffic from Google ads. This conversion rate does not include the phones received by the customer which are at least twice as many per digital channel. With these numbers, it follows that the customer receives approximately 8-10 requests for home renovation offers per day.

The client’s site appears in Google results for more than 1000 different keywords per month and more than 100 keywords that include the word renovation are in the #1 position of Google results.

Our partnership continues on a monthly basis and we are an integral part of the client’s success. We have earned his trust and for us it is one of the most successful projects of our work that we started at the startup level and reached the market leader level with a small budget but with a great desire to reach and surpass the desired initial goal.
